If you are unsure which beach to choose among all the fabulous beaches Alcúdia has to offer its visitors, the Alcúdia beach is always hit with everyone. This incredible white sandy beach is 3.5 kms long, so a lack of a space to put down your towel isn´t an issue. Alcúdia beach is perfectly located, near the centre of Alcúdia and just a few kilometres from the Port of Alcúdia. Thanks to its huge expanse of white fine sand, you will find places for sports such as beach volleyball or football. Perhaps you would prefer to make the most of the crystal-clear waters by doing activities such as Kayaking or the SUP. On Alcúdia Beach, you can easily rent any necessary equipment you may require. However, if sports are not your thing, you can always rent a sun lounger and relax while enjoying a cold refreshing drink. Another of the great attractions of Alcúdia is the fantastic promenade; the Paseo Marítimo in the Port of Alcúdia, is an ideal place to take a walk and to browse the shops.
Es Coll Baix
Es Coll Baix is another beautiful beach in Alcúdia , it offers a completely different experience to the main Alcúdia beach. Es Coll Baix is located at the foot of the Atalaya, which is the highest mountain in the area and offers stunning views, surrounded by mountains. Es Coll Baix offers one of the most beautiful and spectacular landscapes imaginable. This fantastic pebble beach is about 200 meters long, although they are only small pebbles, we recommend that you wear some footwear when you visit, there are certain areas that can be a bit uncomfortable barefoot. The landscape around Es Coll Baix is outstanding, although what stands out the most is the water. The bay at Es Coll Baix is an incredible turquoise colour and the water is so clear that you can see the bottom clearly. Despite being one of the most incredible beaches in Alcúdia, it is quite quiet and peaceful, the perfect place to spend a relaxing day away from it all. To get to Es Coll Baix you will have walk for about 20 minutes, through a pine forest. Although it is not an excessively complex walk, we recommend that you wear suitable footwear and avoid doing it in the intense heat of the day. But please don't be put off by having to walk to reach Es Coll Baix, we promise it will be well worth it when you get there.
